Acetone

Acetone acts as a good solvent for many plastics and some synthetic fibers. It is highly capable of dissolving many fats and resins as well as cellulose acetate,  nitrocellulose, cellulose ethers, and another cellulose ester. Also, it is used in laboratories for cleaning purpose.
